I have a ? for you vets, i just bought a 1973 Roadrunner

Also who makes a really good header that does not leak at the heads? The last time iput headers on was 1979 god i am OLD !!

Re: header problems??????????????????????
I think that all small block cars have the 90 adaptor. i have never owned a small block car though so I can only guess.
You can look to see if the filter comes right off the block or if it is turned towards the back of the car. If it turns to the back it has the adapator

I have a 73 RR 340 car. You need the adapter for the oil filter. If your car is a column shift, you will have to invert the linkage at the frame. Easy to do...should come in the instructions on how to install. Also, the steering passes through the headers on one side. Can't remember which and am too lazy to check right now. Should also be in the instructions. Pain in the a$$ to install, but well worth the effort. Good luck!
