Proud owner of 1970 Road Runner 383 4sp.
It has the original/stock holley 4160 carb on it, Does

A mechanic told me that it is relatively small.

holley carb
thanks for reply Matt, all I know is that the part # is
4749-3...only napa auto parts had a listing of this carb.
and they said that is was listed as appearing on 67-70
chrysler 383 engines. They did not know what size it
was. Also interesting is that the "Red Book" does not
show this as being the correct carb # so I don't know what I have...maybe its not the exact carb vehicle came with from dealer. thanx walt.
Re: holley carb
If I remember correctly, 1970 was the first year they started using Holley four barrels on the 383 HP's. Before 1970, Carter AVS's were used, so your carb might be correct for your car. I don't have access to my little white books right now to confirm your number though...

Re: holley stock carb
Hi. Look on the air horn of the carb and you find a number. It will be preceeded by the word list, such as "list 6210". This is the model number. Go to holley.com and you should be able to look up the model number and get the specs for your carb. More than likely you'll find it is a 650cfm. That was pretty normal for most manufactures to use on standard big blocks and even small blocks. hope this helps.
