how come no one told us?
How come no one told us about this Message Board? I found it by accident!! Dean, Swampdog, I'm blaming you, LOL.. how come there are no posts since Jan.? if this is an IWPA thing it should be in the newsletter!! It's got to be better than that lunacy, of the other one! Lets get this one out there to IWPA members! I kept wondering why the actual IWPA didn't have a message board? then I find out it was a well hidden secret...SHAME ON YOU ALL..lol
Technically, this is not an "official" IWPA message board. I started this one last year after the old AB weight pulling board shut down. I figured that everyone's needs seemed to be met by the other board so I just left it as it was

Hi Ingrid, I'm going to get this board out there. If you don't own Pits or AB's on the other one, your not worth your weight in salt>>LOL. IWPA members for 16 yrs. 22 & some International medals! and we are not important!..
Even the guys with Pits and AB's who LOSE! are more important than us.. cause we have fuzzy dogs! I'm sending E's right now for this board!! If you don't mind...?
I would like to see issues of the IWPA discussed without the hatred that some of the ADBA members, have for the IWPA..because lets face it our newsletter is of no use too issues, anymore!

Glad you guys came over than! Please feel free to get the word out on the board. I am all for it being used. I think that it could be a place for some constructive thoughts and comments :-) I think that the wool (or lack thereof) on a dog is not a sign of its quality. I have seen as many wonderful pulling "fuzzy" dogs as I have "non-fuzzy" Geez, this is starting to sound like Dr. Seuss's story "The Sneetchs" <vbg>

Well I see the big bad wolf found us on this board, HI Mark glad you could make it, could we talk about our fuzzy dogs here!! PLEASE!!! the other one is killing us>.. and could Rick join the voice of the great handlers??? even though we don't pull Pits??? and who the hell is Sam?? knows an awful lot about reg 9.. have any clues? what issue should we start this board out with??

should the IWPA revamp the point system, I say if they change the point system, at all, it should be only more pulls INSIDE region should count! OUTSIDE region should stay the same!! It supports the IWPA, the Organizers, and doesn't affect the guy who has little money to travel...in favor of a less deserving dog just because his owner has more money. It doesn't effect the guy who is only one of a few people in his region, because most of those people travel for points now anyway! They will have to organize pulls in there own region, once again supporting the IWPA! any other opinions...?

First let me say Rick is a great weight pull handeler the afore metioned post was in responce to "not all good weight pulling ab came from my lines i was just pointing out that most do. I think that any dog Rick pulls would be a contender.ARE CURENTpoint system does not work like it was dezined to ,i think you should only be awarded points first threw fourth best of six puls two out of reigion.

Aww Rick says he just got all warm and fuzzy inside, that was nice Mark but we understood what you meant! That was something I was just yanking Dean's chain with.... and besides Rick is training an MGK. dog now or at least training Chris to train an MGK dog>>LOL..and who knows, Shy and Shaq have given Rick a new outlook on the Pits and Whoppers..He likes em maynard!!LOL. who knows, maybe someday!!! but we will always have our fuzzy dogs too.. and I like the 6 best in region, but I would like to see one more added to out of region, so we could still support people like Kay and Rodger...they rely on us!! but then who knows how much longer they will hang on!! so maybe just leave it like it is?

fussy dogs
well at least in ohio its not the hairless dogs that have problems with the fussy dogs its the other way around.. but im glad that i found everybody hope to have good conversations with friends that just love their dogs
I'm in Reg 6, but all I have is Fuzzy Farm dogs, or mutt crosses. Once I found you, I sent emails to all my email list that are super bunch of people, except one and I'm not telling where we are. Let the pits and ABDA stay there, I agree unless you have one of them they look down at you. But they can be beat, and it happened at the pull-offs. Little did Dean know that the 40 lb. mutt had decided to go for % and passed. Or those frantastic Rotts from Washington, and Kelly, your girl is something to watch. I know I didn't have to pull but I had a front row seat and I think that snow pullers are a warmer bunch, we have to be. We'de freeze in the weather we have to put up with. And I agree, make more count in region, those that have the money will stack them anyways and then go home with egg on their face because they aren't the better dog, they just spent more money. Thanks to WHO EVER posted this address on the other one. I tried to find you on my own and it wasn't working.

Believe me when I say I have no resentment towards pits and bulldogs, it's just there doesn't seem to be ROOM for fuzzy dogs and snow pullers on the other board, thats all I meant! We stopped by Bonacorsi's on the way back from Nationals and stayed a day and let me tell you he has a new boy out there called Rack, that is awesome! now that my dog Kenosha is retired! 9 yrs old she deserves a good rest! 2 Golds, 4 Silvers, 1 Bronze, all I wanted was one more gold before I retired her! and she did it! YaHoo! now on to my next puppy! Todd P. has some I'm looking into! HEY! Todd I'm waiting for those pup pics! And Rick has a couple of Mal. pups to work on for next year Bladerunner and Steele!

I just think there should be room on every weight pull board for ANYONE who owns a fantastic PULL DOG! hair or hairless, little or big! Because anyone who pulls snow knows that just as much blood, sweat, and tears, goes into training a snow dog..... anyway I would like to see this board treat each other with respect! Not based on the breeds we own, or who bred what, out of who, respect people for there opinions, they may not be yours, but no one is asking you to except them, just listen to them.....
