prayer/question Hello Ladies, What do you know I'm actually POSTING!!! WHOOO! ;-) My computer has been acting up, that's why I've not been on and posting as much as I've like to! I have a couple of quick requests! #1: a friend of mine's mom got diagnosed (sp) with breast cancer. At first the Dr.'s said it was BOTH sides, and both where going to HAVE to be removed. Next visit, they checked it again, and all of a sudden it was 1 side, and it only needs a LITTLE treatment! The best thing is #1: she's being healed, and #2: she's not a christian, so being healed, has made her ask LOTS of question about Christ! Anyways, PLEASE keep her in your prayers.... her name is Kathy, and her son's name (my friend) is Troy, #2: ok this is the BIG one! My mom and I have been wanting to buy this Consignment Shop in Fairbury (about 30 mins from home), its been on and off the market 2 or 3 times now! Anyways, we have made and offer, and they are talking about accepting it! On another note, I've deiced to work at a camp for the summer (May 21-August 3rd). Thing is, that if we get the store, I can't go. We are adopting 2 boys (10 and 11), plus we have a 3 acre garden every year! The shop is a FULL time job! Anyways, if we get the store, I have to decided if I want to work or go to camp. Anyways! My question is.. should I go to camp or take over teh store? Just wanting your option! PTL!! What wonderful news about your friend Kathy!!   We will continue to pray for her to come to know Jesus as her Saviour and her son. This is a wonderful time to share God's love for her and how He desires to be her ALL in all.You asked for an opinion about summer. I would like to place my vote on seeking Jesus for the answer. Re: prayer/question Dear Kim, I will be praying for your friend. It is wonderful that she is seeking. About the store. . . I would have to agree with Mrs. Lyn. I do believe that between seeking the Lord's will in prayer and reading the Bible, God will show you what to do. Personally if it was me, I'd want to work, but that's between you and God.
