starting seeds indoors
I would like a lot of variety in my vegetable garden this summer. Maybe we'll even sell at our local farmers' market. I picked up some seed the other day and I'm very anxious to get started. Does anyone have any tips or does anyone know how to make starter pots out of newspaper?

Thanks

Robin

Paper seedling pots
Hi,
I thought I would share with you and easy way to make the paper pots from newspaper. ;) You simply can use a empty paper towel cardboard roll, as your form. Cut your strips of newpaper about 2 inches tall. Then place this strip around the form at least 4-5 times.:D Take off the cardboard form carefully and staple, to hold in a ring formation. Now you have your little pots, for planting. Just line up these forms, in a foiled lined box . Such as you can get canned foods in at the market. They are usually about 2-3 inches tall and about 15 in. rectangle. This food case cut down makes excellent seedling flats. This is inexpensive and works great!!
