*steps out from under a rock* uuuh Hi everyone!
Hey, I've completley forgotten about this place! I'm glad to see it's still alive! I don't know if many of you will remember me but I had the names JonGCR, Jon4416, Chiba_Orc, and General_Jon. I didn't post too much, but played often. I think I went off to ToJ then but it was too crowded and eventually left that.

As of lately I've been addicted to my Dreamcast. I currently have 100+ games for it and my collection is growing :) such a great system. Haven't played too many bliz games lately..waiting for D2 to get 1.10, and also waiting for WoW.

I'm currently a sophmore in highschool. I don't have a job, I run XC and Track (distance). And as of lately my church has had major problems :( A little over a half of a year ago my senior pastor went on a 'sabatical' (vacation) and while he was gone some deacons, the youth pastor, and our associate pastor were looking into some financial things that didn't look right. Well when he got back he ended up fireing the 2 pastors (though that's not what he said to the church). It wasn't open about it so many people started talking cause they didn't know what to think. Eventually people start finding out that he really just got rid of them because they questioned him. He's the type guy who says 'my way or the highway'. We also found out that he was the cause of our other youth pastor (awhile back) for leaving because he spoke out too much. We though he just left becuase he thought it was time to move on to become a senior pastor! So 2 sundays ago he announced his regisnation (sp). Our church does a TV show for upn, called Knowing God Ministries. Well that sunday night around midnight I suppose he had people come in and take the cameras, 2 really expensive screen pojectors and a bunch of equipment and ....a CLOCK. Even if this was property of knowing god ministries he could have at least told the other pastoral staff that it was theirs and it had to go! I've seemed to lose all respect for this man :( In a sense he seemed like a dictator :/

Well anyways, does skapostle (mike), cgamer (heath), tcwalt (christie), leo and jen, or chomick hang around here anymore? I've talked to heath but I haven't heard of the others for awhile :/ Well nice being back! Hope to visit more often! :)

I'm here! And TCWalt drops by too. And of course Sir Nukes is here. Not sure who all is a 'regular' anymore....

Glad to see you! Sorry to hear about your Church. But people are people. Only God never lets you down (at least that is my experience).

God bless you!

Greetings. I was recently going through old links and came across this place again. Dunno if anyone recalls the name, but oh well. Thought I'd say Hi anyway since the thread was already here. :)

Good to see you again. You to, Carawulf.

ToJ was too crowded? Hm.. you're probably right, but it's just hard to picture someplace being too crowded when I've only known too empty for so long.

You can probably find most of those people you mentioned hanging around elsewhere, but not here. I'm not so sure about skapostle and chomick, and am vague on leo/jen, but the rest can be found without much trouble, mostly through aim.

Sorry about your church, but at least you found out and things can move forward.

Update
Well over the past couple weeks a lot has happened. Not too long after he resigned the church board decided it was best if he left immediatley, he agreed. A few more people left but not too many. Anyways this past sunday, the pastor who filled in for our now former pastor durring his sabbatical is going to be there for 3 weeks to fill in as a senior pastor to help the healing. (he's a missionary in the Czeh (spelling?) republic). Also our youthgroup got another couple to help us out! Things are looking up.

I'm curious, where is everyone hanging out on the net lately? Personally, I've been rather homeless.

And you aren't young anymore? :)
It's kinda depressing to think of how long it has been since fkoc's prime, but oddly enough, real life moves at a much slower pace than the internet. I still haven't managed to land a girlfriend. =p

Re: *steps out from under a rock* uuuh Hi everyone!
Just a update on my church.

Really everything is working out a lot better than I thought it would have. We get a interim pastor that's leading us in the right direction for healing and I think the congregation is responding well to it. As for our ex-senior pastor we created a group of people to try to help him confront his problems. So far he has been pretty stubborn about it, even when we offered to pay for counseling sessions at a place which does that type stuff for leaders ( like pastors) who have had these problems. Our youth group is doing a lot better now also, we got some youth leaders who back who left during the years our now ex-senior pastor was pastor, we even have a big missions trip planned for this summer which they say will be a life changing experience! They are quite tight lipped about where ect but i should know in the weeks to follow.

Thanks for your prayers :)

Brent, I like to pretend I'm all growed up, even though there's plenty more to go. :p

Jon - I'm very glad for your church; God does provide, and doubtless your church needed a slight awakening. :)
