the Bulldog growls no more
These things come in three's they say, so maybe after Thesz and Chief Wahoo, hopefully this is it for awhile. The latest to go in Davey Boy Smith, gone at 39 from an apparent heart attack. The list grows ever longer.

Re: the Bulldog growls no more
Yeahhh, this sucks the big time, as TIO likes to say.
Davey Boy & The Dynamite Kid were an enormously popular tag team. I guess Dynamite is *lucky* to merely be confined to a wheelchair these days.
I've heard rumors that Davey's death was related to medication, needed to relieve pain in his back, after landing on a protrusion for The Ultimate Warrior's trapdoor.
Whether the rumors are true or not, to me it's a clear case of Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
You cannot threaten your wrestlers by giving them vulnerable *BUMP* areas. Surely that stupid trapdoor could have been located just outside of the ring, maybe thru a lesser-used announcer's table...*anywhere* BUT directly in the middle of the ring...
Rest In Peace, Davey Boy Smith, Wahoo McDaniels, & Lou Thesz.
Thanks for the memories.
