trojan 10 meter
ihave a contract to purchase a 10 meter. i need a windlass and a generator and would like any advice,opinions,recommendations i can get. thank you in advance

hi well i am wondering how small or large the generator should be. most seem to be 6.5k onans,some 7.5. if you were not worried about a/c would an inverter work even for the range?
for a windlass,what about a horizon 600ff, i know it is not low profile,but it requires less amps and other than looks it appears easier to install.thanks- hal

You would probably want to have a a 6.5kw. That's what my boat has, and it's usually enough. I don't know much about windlasses, but maybe someone else her does

suggest you use the same brands of equipment as the factory originally installed .. the quality was unsurpassed
the onan generator 6.5 kw (gas) is more than adequate just be sure the load is balanced between the two 30 amp circuits
