trunk lid hinge springs -nevermind
--nothing like blowing your first post on a dumb question... i figured it out.

after years of saying i was going to, i am finally restoring an old mopar. last year i bought a 1968 roadrunner and have now got all the sheetmetal parts i need to do the job.

i have cut out most of the old rear window filler panel, but to finish i need to get those damn trunk hinge springs out of there. it's got me confused. i can't figure out how to get them off without screwing up the hinges.

none of my books even address the topic. anyone out there have a hint for me as to how to get those hinge springs off? reply here or e-mail me at davefincher@cox.net. thanks.

dave
