which is the better weapon combo?

sadly, the Goranga Spiked Club is good for you (however, I never enjoyed begging) and a GSC + KD is a stella combo for you all the way to 50 (hopefully by then you'll be able to get a Stave of Shielding and/or a Sceptre of Mastery)

I am currently using a Bamboo Bo stick for 2H, and I just bought my second Baton and an essence of Dol. Would you use the two batons or one baton and the essence? luvit Monk Posts: 1 (5/3/01 12:54 pm) Reply	Re: reply... The ultimate combo for a monk is a Cane of Harmony (way better than a tranquil) and a Knuckle Duster. The cane gives you stats and sheer power and the duster gives you sheer speed of attack with low wieght. Ihave tried many combinations of weapons and this one is by far the best. This combos expensive and hard to aquire but well worth the duckets and time it takes to find them. Now on to the wieght issue. So many myths, so little time. I wiegh 22 stones at the moment and wouldnt have it any other way. When i take off my stat items for lower wieght ac items my ac goes down slightly and you give up the added stats. So, point being that just going down to your wieght allowance (for me its 16 at lvl 30) isnt necessarily going to improve your ac number, it all depends on your equipment. You just have to play with weapon and armor combos to see which works out best for you. Zukir Aikido (Ordo Equestris) LVL 30

The cane of harmony is 11/25 and the KDs are 14/28, the cane gives the speed and the KDs the power, but anyways.. THe best non uber combo would be a wus trance stick 7/18 and knuckle dusters 14/28, costs around 12k for both..

I would definitely go with 2 batons Senven. The weight allowance thing just isn't that important at your level compared to how much better damage that baton does over the dol. Sell the EoD and enjoy those batons, you will be using both of them or at least one of them for a good while I am sure. My monk currently uses Cane of Tranquil and Knuckledusters, but I think I will go after a Wu's Trance stick, since the damage ratio i'm doing with my fists seem to equal the blunts right now. The blunts just seem faster to hit, so thus the extra damage. Anyway, I'm liking my fists, I don't get beat on as much but when I, bring out the old Peacebringer from Mr.Tinker bag, and put the beast back in line! Zebansis Monk Posts: 1 (6/26/02 2:42 pm) Reply	Re: reply... I would suggest running to ME on the moon and shouting for a Goranga club. Most higher melee's have one and a lot of them rot. Just be sure to be FD'd or you will get your but handed to you at lower lvls. When you go in to the zone turn right and park yourself high on the wall there. Groups will usually be down below you or to the right a bit THe best part about this weapon is that its FREE!! Stats Lore Item - No Drop 12 dam 23 dly 5 ac 3 str I replaced my Wu stick with one of these and have no regrets. I will be using this until i finish the Whistleing Fists quests more than likely.
