who's installed a headliner????
well, my headliner was on the way out anyways but it didn't look bad...until i threw my arm over the seat and snagged a seam...which then ripped the headliner from door to door!!!!
so, my question is, how hard is a headliner to install??? and, should i do it after i paint the car, that way the metal under the weatherstripping channel and all the hidden areas get painted??? i was looking around and it didn't seem to be too tough of a job.
That's a good question for me, too.
I have a few magazine articles showing how to do it, and I think I'm going to experiment on my wifes R/T. Any helpful hints are welcome.
Re: who's installed a headliner????
I have read the mag. articles too but have not done one myself yet.Judging by the articles it seems as though it can be done by the average guy.

I friend of mine did one in a 68 Fury and he said it wasn't too bad. You just have to take your time .

I have Installed a headliner in my 70 charger. It is not too difficult. If I can do it just about anyone can. It will take some patience though.
